People Just Don't Understand~

I have never gotten so angry at a racial comment than i had today.

So my coworker picks up the phone and does the routine greeting. Then she sets down the phone without turning it off. I'm all like... what, a recording? So she gives me the phone and what i hear is someone going"Ching chong ching chong chong, i like *store name*.. ching chong ching, gung hay fat choy"

So i put down the phone and my coworker was like, just let them talk, they'll get tired of it anyways.but no.. i couldnt just let that shit go.. So what happened was:

Me: Hello?
Phone: ................. CHING CHONG CHING, i like *store name*...
Me: Do you know how racist that is?
Phone: *silence............* CHING CHONG CHING CHING CHONG
Me: DO YOU KNOW HOW FUCKIN RACIST YOU'RE BEING RIGHT NOW?! DO YOU EVEN REALIZE THAT THIS IS A FUCKIN JAPANESE STORE?!

and before i even finished my last words with them, they hung up on me. I so wanted to say more shit to them.

I dont care if you were dared to call us, i dont even care if you were prank calling us for fun. but NEVER.. EEEEEEEEVERR Call with stupid racist shit like that.

And to think that it came from 2 girls... TWO GIRLS WHO, with my instinct, COULD HAVE BEEN ASIAN.

At these times, you'd think people would have better knowledge not to mess around with that kind of shit.
