It's been awhile since i've worked a holiday Saturday and boy was it fun fun FUN >_<
I would start listing out stuff that happened, but there was just too many to write down. I'm not even going to bother writing in one, since whatever i pick wont be as good as the next story, or the next.
Let's just say the REAL holiday hours started and my feet are killing me.

Holiday Saturdays are fun. Usually the Saturdays at the store I work at are jam-packed with people. There is that certain kind of frenzied energy that is so particular and belonging to the holidays that it is really prominent around this time of year. It’s like everyone is perpetually buzzing around. You can just look at a person and see that they are running gift list through their heads while navigating merchandise shelves and other identical shoppers. I can definitely relate to the persona changes that occur to clients/customers around this time of year. It’s like everyone has a million and one things to do and there is no time to do it and they have absolutely zero time and energy left to be polite to front desk associates or sales persons. The stress around this time of year is unbelievable, but then again that’s really good for my job because stress is what it caters to. Actually, I think my job gets better (or at least more profitable) around this time of year because I am a massage therapist. The clients will generally be a little more difficult to relax though. Too much shopping, not enough smelling the roses.
